This book is dedicated to intermittent fasting and contains the most up-to-date research on timed eating "Nutrition Untapped's founder, dietitian Kayla Girgen, RD, agrees. "Asprey does a fantastic job of discussing the physical and mental benefits of intermittent fasting and learning to be comfortable in your own skin. I've tried practically every recipe in this book and can attest to the fact that they're all healthy winners. She devotes a full section to children's issues, such as how to assist your children become good eaters and how to introduce solids to children, and each recipe has minor adjustments for babies and toddlers.

5.Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat' by Michelle May.

This is by far the most popular book I give to my patients, Girgen says. First and foremost, Dr. May has walked the walk, and this book is immensely relatable because she has suffered with her own weight. Michelle May, MD, is the founder of Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating Programs and Training, and describes herself as a recovering yo-yo dieter. She uses her own personal experiences to assist readers overcome their issues with crash diets and replace them with a more conscious attitude to food.

I hear from people all the time that they relate to the book,Girgen says. This book provides a number of actionable methods to help you avoid 'dieting' and begin eating intuitively in a way that supports your long-term health goals.
